This course provides an overview of the training program for students new to apprenticeship. It covers the identification and proper use of common hand, power and powder-actuated tools. The course introduces students to math skills for the trade, as well as how to read tape measures. It also covers Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA-10) training requirements. Successful students will earn an OSHA 10 Certification and Powder-Actuated Tool Certification.

It's great that there are a lot of members willing to help others if they don't know what to do so we can learn how to do things the right way and the safe way. I look forward to passing on the knowledge I learn over the years and being a good mentor.
